The Type 2 Diabetes Reversal Program
What is it? Who is it for? What can I expect from it?
Online consultations are now possible using skype with webcam. No need to travel.
What is it? The diabetes reversal program is a treatment plan to help reverse (not cure) your Type 2 diabetes. This means that you end up getting better control of your blood glucose levels and taking reduced diabetic medication (note that the medication can ONLY be altered by your doctor). Please note that under no circumstances should you stop your medication without your doctor’s permission. In this program, some people may end up coming off all their medication and controlling it only with diet, while others may have reduced medication. In all cases, after the 6 months, you will see many benefits of this program. Some of these are: Lower blood glucose levels Lower cholesterol levels Being less tired. You will find that you become more energetic Lose weight Generally an overall feeling of well being. Who is it for? This program is for anyone who is diabetic and wants to have better control of their blood glucose levels as well as better health. It is not meant for someone who thinks this is a quick fix and gives up in 2 months into the program. I would personally advice against anyone coming into this program, IF they are not going to be committed to the full 6 months. Also the person must be willing to follow the instructions religiously, for the program to be of benefit to them. After all you are paying for it, so it makes sense you get the most from it, doesn’t it? The program is not hard but needs commitment from you. Look at it this way, what is 6 months, when at the end you have better health? What can I expect from it? You can expect to see an improved blood glucose level, feeling more energetic, reduction in any excess weight, lower cholesterol levels and a strengthened immune system. The diet mentioned in this program is simple but effective. You will not be asked to watch your portions or the calories. You can eat whenever you feel hungry and you will learn to listen to your body better.
Diabetic Treatment Plan
Total cost for the 6 month program (excluding extra remedies) : £295.00 If remedies are to be posted, P+P will be charged at £3.50 for the UK and £5 rest of the world. Postage is normal and not recorded. Extra charges will apply if you wish to have it recorded. Extra remedies are charged at £5 per bottle. Notes: Foods to take and foods to avoid Test blood first thing in the morning (FBS at least 12 hours after last meal), 1 hour after the heaviest meal and 2 hr after the heaviest meal. Keep a record of these readings. Do this daily for the first 10 days minimum and then continue only with the FBS and the 2hr tests. The 1hr will help you understand your body’s reaction to types of foods you eat. So new foods can be tested this way. Please note these guidelines for blood glucose levels are not set in stone and keep changing, so already refer to your diabetic doctor for the latest levels.
Change in HbA1c level reporting from June 2009 From the 1st June 2009 the way in which you receive your annual HbA1c will be changing from a percentage figure to a measurement in mmol/mol. The annual HbA1c test for people with diabetes gives a measure of what your average blood glucose levels have been over a period of 2-3 months. The test measures glucose in the blood which sticks to the red blood cells making glycosolated haemoglobin. The more glucose present, the higher the HbA1c level will be. For most people with diabetes the current target level for their HbA1c test is 6.5%, but targets vary according to the individual. The test will still give the same basic information and here is how the results will appear: Current HbA1c New HbA1c |
